PAP Therapy

CPAP and BIPAP therapy are two commonly prescribed treatments for sleep apnea involving air pressure that opens your airways while sleeping. Using PAP therapy to treat your sleep apnea can improve your quality of life in a number of ways including: solving daytime fatigue, lowering risk for high blood pressure and heart problems, and decreasing risk for type 2 diabetes among other benefits. Here at Supreme Healthcare, we not only offer industry leading CPAP and BIPAP machines that are extremely effective and user friendly, but also have Respiratory Therapists on staff that will be there to guide you on how to use your machine, how to stay on top of compliance, how to use the ResMed AirView app, and overall how get the maximum benefits out of your PAP therapy.

Mask Fitting

Getting the most optimal fit out of your PAP mask is one of the most important keys to success when in regards to PAP therapy. When one of our Respiratory Therapists does a mask fit, they will evaluate each patient based on their needs and sleeping habits, and review with them a variety of mask options. This fitting will allow the patient to get the best mask seal, leading to the appropriate amount of air pressure being delivered to the patient’s airway.

When a cushion is not changed regularly, this can lead to overtightening of the headgear resulting in an increase of pressure on the patient’s face in an effort to create an effective mask seal. In addition to the cushion and supplies directly associated with the mask, items such as tubing, filters and the humidifier chamber should be changed on a regular basis in order to achieve the optimal working conditions for the machine. We believe that adhering to a regular resupply program allows patients to not only keep their equipment in good working order, but also allows for maximum comfort and seal of the PAP mask. To achieve this, we add our patients to a resupply program that will dispense the supplies that patients need on a 3 or 6 month basis with a simple phone call from us.

Oxygen

Receiving home oxygen can be intimidating for some patients and we aim to make it as approachable and easy as we can for our patients. Here at Supreme Healthcare, we offer a variety of oxygen solutions for patients in order to best suit their needs and lifestyle. From home concentrators to portable concentrators and oxygen tanks, our goal is to allow our patients to live the highest quality of life while benefiting from oxygen therapy.

At home overnight oxygen testing is available in order to evaluate any abnormalities in blood oxygen levels and to qualify for home oxygen. We offer this service to keep things convenient and easy for the patient by handling the delivery and pickup of the testing equipment. This allows the patient to perform the test in their own home allowing them to get an accurate reading in a comfortable place while they sleep. The device will then be pickup up by us where the data is read off of the device and sent to the patient’s treating physician for evaluation.

Overnight Oxygen Testing

In order to alleviate symptoms from conditions like asthma and COPD, doctors often prescribe the use of compressor nebulizers in order to administer the delivery of such medication into the patient’s airway. We offer convenient compressor nebulizers with a relatively small footprint in order to effectively and efficiently deliver the breathing medication to the patient.
